Étienne Sauzet Description
The 2022 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Jardin du Calvaire suffered in the dry conditions, and it was matured in a recently acquired foudre from Tonnellerie Rousseau; taken together, that lends the wine a more exotic profile than usual, with aromas redolent of musky peach, mandarin oil and honeycomb, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and expansive palate with a sweet core of fruit.

The 2022 Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Blanc Jardin du Calvert aged 85% in 22-hectoliter foudres, the rest 600-liter barrels. The perfumed bouquet has more to offer than the Bourgogne Blanc at this stage. More presence and complexity. The medium-bodied palate offers lime and tangerine on the entry with a fine bead of acidity and a light twist of sour lemon on the finish.
